Tales of Astonishment

Rules for Posting

1. You can only post one Tale of Astonishment a month. The rewards for the training are significant enough that you will not feel like you are lagging behind others taking weekly fights.

2. Once you start your tale, you will be lockout from fights. You will spend this time writing your Tale and posting the required number of role play posts.

3. Your tale must consist of 8 Role Play Posts. Please format the title (ToA) "Title of your tale". This will help mods keep track of the tale for grading and review. These 8 posts need to meet the 500 word minimum requirement in order to count.

4. After the 8th post you will finish your training with a finale. This should be the crux of the training (defeating your mentor, destroying the final boss, etc.).

5. After your tale has been posted, judges will review and provide a grade. Based on the grade you will receive various rewards.

Examples of Tales

Your tale can be any cohesive story that shows character growth. These can be training with a mentor, taking on a tough adversary or studying in a library (if you can meet the guidelines!

How We Grade

Criteria

1. Story (15/15) - This will be the grade on our overall story. The judge will grade not only the finale but the preluding story elements. Was your story cohesive? Did it provide adequate character growth?

2. Grammar (5/5) - Self explanatory. How was the grammatic structure of the Tale. As stated this is primarily a written form of level up so we encourage everyone to review for grammatical errors.

3. Style (5/5) - Are you posts full of walls of text, same colors, no pictures? Expect to have a lower grade here.

4. Fun (5/5) - While we know this is subjective but was the story a fun read. Did it fill judges with astonishment :).

Rewards

1. S Tier (28+): 15 Stats / 175g / 14 AP

2. A Tier (20+): 12 Stats / 125g / 10 AP

3. B Tier (15+): 10 Stats / 100g / 8 AP

4. C Tier (10+): 8 Stats / 75g / 6 AP

5: D Tier ( 5+): 6 Stats / 50g / 4 AP
